A tall man came to my little ranch and offered to buy all three of my geldings. With a surplus of horses and a drought, none of them were getting the attention they craved… so I gave him a good price. They all went to his home for his granddaughters to ride. I was nervous about them going to a new home and about their behavior with inexperienced young riders. Well, they done me proud. The girls just got on them and bombed around and my boys loved it. Granddad, who as a child loved the horses on his father’s farm, had a miraculous way with them. Lots of food and children loving them every day! Can’t get much better than that!
